Welcome at the page of the Sports Committee. Currently this committee only consists of board members - we need volunteers!

In 2010 the Riata Ranch Board decided to re-open the sports fields to teams. There are some conditions for teams to use the Riata Ranch fields. Please make sure you register your team and strictly enforce our no street parking policy. Excessive parking on Riata Ranch and the dangerous situations that it causes were the reason for the 2008-2009 Board to close the park for organized teams.

How to register your team

Your team needs to appoint a representative ("rep"). The rep will file a training time request on behalf of the team. Once the sports committee accepts and posts the team schedule your team can train on the appointed time.

* The primary representative ("rep") must be a Riata Ranch resident. The rep does not have to be a trainer or a coach, but is responsible for communication with the sports committee and for the behavior of players, coaches, trainers and spectators.

Training slots are assigned on a first come first serve basis. The sports committee cannot guarantee that the desired day and time is available.

Please be courteous to others. Be polite when others are using the fields. And make sure none of your players, coaches, trainers or spectators parks on Riata Ranch Blvd. Walk, bike or car pool to the park if there is insufficient space in the parking areas.
